Formed in 1978, we are an avid group of metal detectorists who share a passion for uncovering the history of the South West and artefacts from yesteryear. We meet up on the first Monday of each month at the Quicksilver Mail, Henford, Yeovil BA20 2RG where members bring along their finds and chat with other like-minded enthusiasts. This regular meeting starts at 8pm and you are welcome to come along and see what it's all about, just drop us an email and we will extend an invite to join us for an evening.

We work with local farmers and landowners to arrange regular club digs where our members can enjoy metal detecting on new sites and even help raise funds for causes supported by the landowner.

The club members also offer a free recovery service for metallic items that have been lost whether it is a gold wedding ring, a platinum brooch, or an iron machine part.
